The newest model of Lemair small transportable clothes washers is 1100mm high when the lid is open, or 695mm with the lid down. It will fit into a space just 438mm wide and 438mm deep. The whole motor weighs just 18kg. This may be one of the small transportable clothes washers but this does not detract from its efficiency. The Lemair has an integral spin cycle, operating at 800rpm, on 240V at 5 hz and even incorporates an alarm to familiarize you when the washing cycle has finished.
Dometic Space Saver Washing Machine
Yes, I do mean 'Dometic' - that is the name attributed to this small transportable clothes washer, slightly heavier than the Lemair, at 54kg. This washing motor is a front-loader with the capacity for washing a 3kg laundry load in its stainless steel drum. The Dometic model includes a range of wash and spin cycles, completing a full washing cycle in approximately 90 minutes. This small transportable clothes washer does need to be vented covering although it is ideal to be used in an Rv.
Summary
Whilst the Lemair and the Dometic are debatably the 'Rolls Royce' of small transportable washers, there are a whole of others on the shop that work fairly efficiently, some more robust than others. The all contribute a clean wash at the end of the laundry cycle so they surely fulfill their functions. The end option remains with the customer, however, because at the end of the day, the option of which of the small transportable clothes washers is most favorable is wholly subjective, thought about by individual preferences and circumstances, as well as the price you are ready to pay.
